Wow. So much respect for this message. I love collecting guns and knives. It’s a hobby. But I have struggled with what Jesus told Peter…Mathew 26:52- those who live by the sword, die by the sword. You laid out the answer that is true, but also difficult. I am 56 years old and have never put myself in a situation where I needed a gun or knife to protect myself. I carry the 43 and just purchased an assortment of extended mags to use depending on clothing and concealment needs. I don’t need a 43X to get more capacity. But you do need a 43 to get more concealment than a 43X allows.

The Richmond Police in Virginia, USA were issued them in .357 SIG apparently according to Wiki. The best feature of .357 SIG in my opinion is it is almost impossible for it to jam on the feed ramp with the necked cartridge, which I've seen happen a bit with 9mm when the feed ramp gets fouled. The downside of .357 SIG is cost / availability and compatibility, but you can swap barrels / spring to 9mm in a few SIGs.
